Founder
Before founding Chestnut Ridge Consulting Services in the spring of 2024, Carmen built an extensive career in the real estate development industry, working with both national and global developers. Over the years, he managed the financial reporting, accounting, and valuation for assets collectively valued in the billions—spanning luxury hotels, large-scale master-planned communities, and nearly every type of multifamily and mixed-use development. In addition to his consulting practice, Carmen owns and operates a small portfolio of rental properties.
Carmen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Quinnipiac University and earned his CPA license immediately after graduation. He began his career with a regional public accounting firm, where he spent five years serving clients in the construction and real estate sectors. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in business structuring, financial analytics, and tax strategy—insights that continue to inform his work in real estate development and investment today.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Carmen enjoys drawing, painting, gardening, carpentry, cooking, hiking, fishing, and spending time outdoors. As a former Division I lacrosse player, he also earned Academic All-American honors while at Quinnipiac University.
